Nathaniel Scott is a 2020 2B/RHP, 3B, SS with a 5-8 145 lb. frame from New Providence, NJ who attends New Providence. Medium frame with slender present build; body projects. Ran 60 yard dash in 8.02 seconds. Sets to hit from open start, stays open through stride, wraps hands into load, rotational lower half mechanics, line drive swing plane, showed ability to work to all fields on the ground. Smoothness to glove actions in the infield, moves to both sides, hands work well, lower slot sling across, clocked up to 72 mph. Also pitched; varying tempo to delivery, some quickness to arm, hides ball well and throws from ear, fastball worked 71-75 mph with slight arm side life. Showed curveball with some depth. Good student.
