Dylan Antonini is a 2023 RHP/C/IF with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Phoenixville, PA who attends Phoenixville Area. Recorded a 7.43 second sixty-yard dash time. Small, compact frame with long levers and plenty of room to fill out. Primary right-handed pitcher that worked exclusively from the stretch in this look. Simple delivery, crouched start with high leg lift into balance, slight drop and drive lower half mechanics and good stride length out to foot strike. The fastball topped out at 81 mph from a high three-quarters arm slot and he held the low-80s velocity during his outing. Fastball flashes good life through the zone due to good extension through release and ability to sequence his three-pitch mix. Displayed well developed secondary offerings with replicated changeup that has fading action and 11-5 shaped curveball that flashed gradual depth to it. Will continue to improve with additional velocity, shows good feel for pitching and ability to land secondary offerings for strikes. Secondary middle-infielder with a developing defensive skill set; uses short, quick footwork to range laterally fairly well to both sides, staying low into the fielding process to funnel cleanly out in front. Energetic upper-half movements to throw with some extra steps into release, recorded arm strength up to 79 mph across the diamond during drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from a crouched, slightly closed stance with a high hand set, high back elbow and quick toe-tap trigger. Incorporates deep hand loading mechanism and rotational lower half mechanics to get to launch. Mostly middle and opposite field contact with linear swing plane and developing feel for the barrel. Will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength. Excellent Student.
