Dalton Downie is a 2023 MIF/OF with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Glennmoore, PA who attends Downingtown West Campus. Downie worked exclusively from his primary IF spot, showcasing quickness in the footwork with range to the glove side. He successfully changed slots and has projectable carry across the diamond up to 78 mph. Offensively, the left handed hitter started from an even stance with a direct downhill path to create consistent line drive contact back up the middle. Downie flashed hand speed through the zone and posted an exit velocity of 83 mph. The contact tool is evident with power potential continuing to increase. Ran a 7.27 sixty yard dash.
