Connor Poitevint is a 2021 SS/2B, OF with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Bainbridge, GA who attends Bainbridge. Medium frame with a lean type build. Primary Shortstop, good first step instincts before he gathers the baseball deep. Accurate throws as he released uphill. Accurate from multiple slots as he threw it 80 mph during drills. Proved to have some feel for the position. Secondary Outfielder, working quickly into his route as he gathers to the side and transfers weight well into throws. Shorter arm action as he threw it 81 mph during workouts. Fundamentally sound with his actions. Right-Handed Hitter, starting narrow before working into a low leg lift to the back foot and strides. Short and simple cuts to the baseball as he looks to spray it to all fields on a line. Found barrels as he impacted the baseball out front. Great Student.
