Michael Zeis is a 2022 C/OF with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Greenlawn, NY who attends John Glenn. Large frame with long, projectable build; ran 40 yard dash in 5.18 seconds. Hits from narrow start with feet close together, long balanced stride into swing, barrel wrapped to start, has good bat speed, gets too extended onto front side at times, creates leverage and gets the ball into the air, hard barrels with lots of jump when on time, very good offensive tools. Worked out behind the plate, side-saddle set, quick feet with some bounce out of crouch, gains momentum and gains ground, throws downhill with good accuracy and carry, clocked up to 79 mph on throws. Very good student, named to 2020 Northeast Indoor Top Prospect List.
