Austin Jones is a 2018 OF/2B with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from Stockbridge, GA who attends Dutchtown HS. Recorded a 7.18 second 60-yard dash time. Medium, athletic frame with room for physical projection. Primary outfielder with deliberate actions and currently developing arm strength. Lower arm slot with a shorter arm action and made accurate throws into the infield. Switch hitter who graded out best from the left side. Up the middle contact and spray line drive approach. Upright and spread open stance with an upper half dominant swing. Line drive swing plane from the left side with a good barrel path and flashes bat speed. Can improve power with more incorporation of the lower half. Good student.
