Nathan Archer is a 2019 LHP/1B with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Jay, FL who attends Jay HS. Medium athletic build, plenty of room to get stronger. Madison Bumgarner mechanics, long extended arm action with a low 3/4's arm slot, front side opens early with a cross body release, can use lower half more to generate velocity. Low 80's fastball, topped out at 83 mph, some sinking and running action. Tends to slow down on slider, sweeping slurve type break with some depth, tends to tip slider by tucking hand in back. Threw strikes and fielded his position well.
