Kyle Miller is a 2020 RHP/OF/IF with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Wildwood, MO who attends Eureka. Tall frame with long limbs and present strength. Primary right handed pitcher who worked exclusively from the stretch. Medium leg lift and stays balanced at gather. Works to the plate with drop and drive actions. Lands in line and carries momentum to target. Clean arm circle at take back and released from a three-quarters slot. Fastball generated good downhill plane through the zone with heavy action in the mid 80's, topped at 85 miles per hour. Displayed good feel for fastball with the ability to work to each edge of the plate. Shortens arm stroke slightly with breaking ball and generated tight spin with late depth in the upper 60's. Consistently challenged the bottom quadrants of the zone and effectively induced weak contact. Also worked out defensively from the infield showing deliberate footwork while centering the baseball. Funnels from a slightly deeper position and worked through exchange cleanly. Displayed good arm strength while releasing from a three-quarters slot topping at 86 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with an upright, slightly open stance and medium leg lift trigger. Aggressively shift lower half to contact while employing a loose, slightly lifted barrel plane. Looked to throw barrel head with intent and drive the baseball to the middle of the field and pull side gap. Produced loud, hard contact off the barrel when on time and squared. Good student as well.
