Aaron Diaz is a 2025 3B/RHP/MIF with a 5-9 170 lb. frame from Levittown, NY who attends Baylor. Medium athletic build with some lower half strength. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread and open start, hanging front leg load, aggressive swing approach, will pull off early at times, is sht and direct when he stays directional and creates good bat speed with extension through contact, can impact the ball and create carry. Primary third baseman on defense, has good quick hands at the ball, has good body control and stays balanced fielding, long arm action with some young carry. Also pitched, compact delivery with a high and tight leg raise and hip turn, good tempo and rhythm to his mechanics, high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 78 mph, was around the zone once he got his delivery timed up, still developing consistency on his breaking ball.
