Ricardo Collado is a 2021 RHP with a 6-0 176 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Christopher Columbus. Medium athletic build with broad shoulders and some present strength. Uses his lower half well in his delivery, cross body release out front with a 3/4's arm slot, deliberate pace with good athleticism and balance. Low 80's fastball, topped out at 83 mph, gets consistent arm side running and sinking life down in the zone, works mostly arm side and gets in on right handers fists very well, cross body delivery currently inhibits him from getting glove side. Slurve type breaking ball shows consistency and good feel for the strike zone, uses it to both right handed and left handed hitters, gets on the side of it but it is an effective pitch for him. Shows quick feet and good athleticism in his pickoffs and fielding off the mound. Very effective outing. Has the tools and athleticism to keep improving. Good student.
