Turner Thompson is a 2020 RHP with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Tampa, FL who attends Tampa HS. Physical mature build with present strength. Pitcher only. Exclusive stretch. Showed a loose whip arm action with a hook in the back. Utilizes an over the top arm slot with good arm speed. Showed a high leg lift with some deception. Drop and drive mechanics with significant push off the rubber. Displayed a fastball with good arm side run topping out at 88 miles per hour accompanied by a good breaking ball with an 11/5 shape topping out at 79 miles per hour. Curveball works best if worked off fastball for strikes. Flashed the ability to throw both pitches for a strike and keep hitters off balance. Named to 2018 Underclass Main Event Top Prospect Team. Excellent student.
