Alex Amentler is a 2019 OF/RHP with a 5-8 151 lb. frame from Drums, PA who attends Hazleton Area HS. Recorded a 6.93 second 60-yard dash time. Younger frame and look with good athleticism and room to fill. Primary outfielder with arm strength recorded up to 80 mph. Good carry on throws with a quick, tight release. Carries weight through release and attacks the ball well. Pretty smooth overall fielding actions and follow through. Righthanded hitter with a wide base and even stance. High hand set with a high back elbow and a leg lift trigger into contact. Loads hands far back with a line drive swing path. Inside hand path to contact. Repeats the swing well and will continue to improve with added strength. Good student.
