Logan Wash is a 2020 OF/LHP, 1B with a 5-11 163 lb. frame from Longwood, FL who attends Lake Brantley. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean, projectable frame with room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 6.90 60-yard dash. Short rock step moving into a leg lift up above belt; deliberate tempo to delivery with a short and compact arm action in the back, hides it well and works from a high three-quarters release point. Generates short sinking life on fastball, topped out at 82 mph with occasional hard cut to glove side. Filled the zone and mixed both a changeup and curveball for strikes. Nice feel for changeup and replicates arm speed; spun curveball up to 72 mph, 1-7 shape with depth and able to land it for strikes. Moves to the ball well in the outfield, good energy to actions and clean funnel, extra step prior to release, shows accuracy to the bag. Full arm stroke from first base, consistent actions and made the plays, fields out front, shows range moving to right and long strides on the charge, gets on top of throws well. Righthanded hitter, begins with a narrow base and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate. Loads hands back at start of swing, does an ice job of creating separation moving into contact. Linear path and creates extension out front, handles the barrel well and repeats simple mechanics. Generates occasional lift at point of contact, stays compact and projects with addtional lower half incorporated into swing. Two-way potential. Very good student.
