Jack Terrell is a 2021 RHP/1B/3B with a 6-1 145 lb. frame from Trophy Club, TX who attends Byron Nelson. Ran a 7.74 second sixty-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher with a taller frame and slender build. Starts from the windup with a small side step into a belt high leg lift, and has a shorter stride before landing online at foot strike. Stays tall in the back with a short dance compact arm stroke, releases from a three-quarter slot. FB stays straight at 72-77 miles per hour. Flashes feel for a changeup that has some fading action at 67 miles per hour. Secondary outfielder with long actions, and a slow and deliberate transition into throws. Has developing arm strength with accurate throws up to 74 miles per hour. Also a secondary third baseman with developing footwork and athleticism. Has developing arm strength with accurate throws up to 75 miles per hour. Starts with a wide base and low hand set from the right side of the plate. Shows the ability to get the barrel out front, and has a line drive barrel plane with a middle of the field approach. Good student.
