Brandon Kline is a 2018 OF/RHP/2B with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Canonsburg, PA who attends Canon-McMillan HS. Slender young athletic build. Two-way prospect. Showed the ability to play both infield and outfield defensively, 6.93 runner who has a quick first step and is athletic in his actions, very good working through the ball at all positions and shows plenty of arm strength. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow exaggerated open stance, swings hard and generates some bat speed, gets coiled and attacks the ball and showed the ability to time pitches, mid field line drive contact. Impressed on the mound, has an on line quick paced delivery that he controls very well, fastball topped out at 85 mph, mostly straight but with plus command. Threw both a hard curveball and a soft curveball, hard curveball a much better pitch with tight spin and sharp biting action, tends to slow arm on the slower version. Nice athlete who can do just about everything on the field. Good student.
