Kyle Roche is a 2018 RHP/ with a 6-6 195 lb. frame from Sandy Hook, CT who attends Newtown. Extra large frame with outstandingly projectable body, broad shoulders with lots of room to fill out. Ran 30 yard dash in 4.35 seconds. Longer arm stroke through the back to high three quarters arm slot, some rigidity and hook through arm action, creates excellent angle to the plate and lands online with hips. Fastball worked 78-81 MPH, showed good angle to both sides of the plate, generates solid running life on pitch. Showed curveball with 11/5 shape and solid depth, does noticeably slow down arm when throwing the pitch. Did a very good job pounding the bottom of the strike zone for the most part, angles make it tough for hitters to square up the ball when located down in the zone. Projects very well. Named to 2017 Northeast Indoor Showcase-NY Top Prospect List, good student.
