Carson McKinney is a 2021 RHP/1B, 3B, OF with a 6-4 220 lb. frame from Columbiana, AL who attends Orange Lutheran. Broad shouldered physical build with lots of lower half strength. Long and deep arm action in back, energy through his release, 3/4's arm slot. Upper 80s fastball, topped out at 90 mph, works down in the zone well with his fastball with some heavy life to it at times. Curveball is his best pitch, has power and velocity and creates good spin, did a nice job of landing the pitch for strikes. Good student, verbal commitment to Texas.
