Sameer Sharma is a 2018 OF/ with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Ashland, MA who attends Deerfield Academy High School. Medium build and frame, athleticism, and room to continue to develop and fill out physically. Posted a 7.66 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, showed a long arm action, moved well through the ball, finish on throws, with a quick first step. Developing arm strength up to 79 mph. At the plate, started with a slightly open stance, high hand set, and a toe tap trigger. Utilized an aggressive approach to the plate, raw bat speed, and a short, compact swing to the ball with a contact oriented approach.
