Jared Casebier is a 2020 RHP with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Rancho Santa Margarita, CA who attends Trabuco Hills High School. Medium, athletic build with square shoulders, has a young and lean, projectable build with room to develop moving forward. Primary righthanded pitcher, rock step moving into mechanics with a full hand path over head through delivery; some drop and drive with lower half mechanics coming down the mound. Shows tempo and pace, full arm action through the back and shows quickness working to a three-quarters release with some effort at release. Fastball topped out at 83 mph, generates occasional cut when on top and maintained out of the stretch, flashed sink at times. Pitched to contact and able to induce ground balls. Comfort landing curveball for strikes with 11-5 shape up to 72 mph, went to it often and early in counts. Good student.
