Will Simpson is a 2019 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-3 205 lb. frame from Sammamish, WA who attends Skyline HS. Extra big and strong build. Right handed hitter, hits with low and tight hands with a short and direct path to the ball, limited shift and lower half use, line drive swing plane, ball comes off the barrel hard and with authority, middle of the field approach and can drive the ball up the gaps. 7.43 runner, has polished actions at first base with good lower half athleticism and a quick release on his throws. Also pitched, throws from a tall delivery with simple step and throw delivery. Fastball topped at 82 mph with nice sinking action at times, fastball gets on hitters well when he's mixing with his slider and giving hitters different looks. Bat has a chance. Good student.
