Jared Feikes is a 2019 RHP/1B/3B with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Seattle, WA who attends Lakeside HS. Large broad shouldered young build, lots of physical projection. Big side step start to his delivery, up tempo pace, high leg lift with a big hip coil, high 3/4's to over the top arm slot, lots of variable points in his present mechanics. Good raw arm strength, fastball topped out at 88 mph, gets good cutting action glove side. Inconsistent release point on his breaking ball, best breaking balls are thrown at higher velocities. Developing change up. Delivery simplifications will lead to better ability to repeat on all pitches and better overall command. Arm strength is definitely there to take a jump forward. Good student.
