2022 National Showcase
Cameron Kim is a 2023 SS/3B with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Jurupa Valley, CA who attends Norco. Long and strong athletic build. 6.81 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder on defense, has nice footwork and surprising lower half quickness and balance for his size, clean hands at the ball, quick release with some carry on his throws, may be athletic enough to stay in the middle of the field even as he gets bigger. Right handed hitter, hits from an upright stance with a high hand load, turns his hips hard, long and loose swing, will get too inside with his hands at times, best when he's getting the barrel out front, has pull side power with more to come. Projectable athlete with lots of present skills. Good student, verbal commitment to UCLA.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
