Luke Porter is a 2019 OF/1B with a 6-4 185 lb. frame from Seattle, WA who attends Lakeside HS. Large frame with long, lean present build; good physical projection remaining on frame. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.65 seconds. Sets up to hit from balance stance with slightly closed front side, leg lift trigger, drops hands into load and gets on line drive swing plane early. Went to all fields consistently with developing strength, shows ability to use whole field seemingly at will. Worked out defensively in the outfield, stays back well on the ball and lines it up before fielding cleanly with some work through ability. Clean arm action, showed accuracy on throws clocked up to 71 MPH. Good student.
