Jaden Alba is a 2023 RHP/1B, 3B with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Long Beach, CA who attends Millikan. Large frame with an already filling out build. Strength showing in the frame. Ran a 8.02 second sixty yard dash. Primary Right-Handed Pitcher, working with a side-step to a higher leg lift over the belt. Full arm circle in the back as he released from a higher three-quarter slot with whip to the arm. Stayed direct to the dish and was simple in the operation. Was confident in his stuff and pounded the zone. Fastball up to 81 mph with heaviness and cut. Mixed in a tumbling changeup and a slurvy breaking ball. Also mixed in a slider that was very similar to the curveball in both speed and movement. Secondary Third Baseman, sitting back on the baseball as he did a good job of keeping it in front of him. Clean gather as he was confident with the glove. Quick transfer and was accurate to the bag as he threw it 80 mph during drills. Right-Handed Hitter, spread out to start as the hands sink into separation. Small lift to stride and then worked into a longer, linear swing path. Knows how to leverage the baseball and proved to have juice into the pull-side gap. Very loud when he found the barrel. Outstanding Student.
