Dylan Nieto is a 2021 SS/2B with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Mission Viejo, CA who attends Tesoro. Large frame with slender, projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.41 seconds. Hits from slightly open stance with high hands and back elbow, loads hands and barrel well, solid bat speed with short stroke through zone, has barrel skills, could get lower half more involved, can spray contact. Worked out in the infield, shows lateral agility, smoothness to hands, clocked up to 84 mph across the diamond. Very good student.
