Yamil Santiago is a 2025 C/3B with a 6-2 165 lb. frame from Kissimmee, FL who attends Osceola. Long and lean athletic build with lots of physical projection. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with limited lower half shift, short rock back start, slashing line drive swing with contact to all fields, bat speed will continue to improve with additional strength and physical maturity. 7.61 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, has active and agile lower half actions that will serve him well in the future as he gets stronger, makes accurate throws with some arm strength and extension through release. Also played infield but is best suited to catch in the future. Projectable young athlete who will continue to improve. Outstanding student.
