Bryce Kemper is a 2022 RHP/C, IF with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from St. Augustine, FL who attends Bartram Trail. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and some present strength to frame with additional room to fill. Righthanded pitcher, quick side step moving into delivery, leg lift up past belt with hip turn at top; longer arm action through the back working to a three-quarters release point. Fastball topped out at 87 mph, mostly true in life but filled the zone and creates extension out front. Comfort throwing curveball and tripled up on in to begin his second inning of work; 11-5 shape to the pitch in mid-70s, landed for strikes and mixed fastball-curveball combo well. Very good student. Verbal commitment to Jacksonville.
