Eli Thurmond is a 2023 OF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Mount Dora, FL who attends Mt. Dora. Medium frame with a lean and athletic build and great physical projection. Ran a 6.51 second 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, has great athleticism to his actions, works aggressively to the ball with quick feet carrying momentum through receiving and showing a clean release that projects with added arm strength. Right-handed hitter, showed a number of fundamental pieces to project on. Uses quick hands to generate great bat speed with an easy and compact swing; finds the barrel at a very consistent rate and fires the hips well to generate some jump off impact that translated very well to game action. Very good student. Named to 2021 National Underclass East Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
