Michael Harpster is a 2023 RHP/MIF, OF with a 6-0 157 lb. frame from Lynchburg, VA who attends E.C. Glass. Recorded 7.56 seconds in the sixty-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher starts with a full wind up with a high leg raise delivery and shows a whippy arm action. He is long and loose as the ball comes out easy from a three-quarter arm slot on release while showing great command of the zone on the fastball topping 86 mph and sitting 83-86 mph. Harpster mixes in a slider with sweeping action and moves it on both sides of the plate. Also taking fly balls and ground balls in the infield showcasing good athleticism and a strong arm at both positions with clean glove actions. Right-handed hitter steps to the plate with a tall, upright stance and a high to low hand trigger as he drags the barrel through the zone impacting the ball with a lofted swing showing a middle approach. Tremendous student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
