Jayden Lopez is a 2021 1B/LHP, OF with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Orlando, FL who attends Cypress Creek HS. Recorded a 7.32 second 60-yard dash time. Lean athletic frame with a high waisted build and room to fill. Primary outfielder who fields cleanly off to the side. Simple and easy actions and gets rid of the ball quickly with good accuracy. Secondary lefthanded pitcher with a turn step into a leg lift at the belt. Good angle with a high three-quarters arm slot. Compact arm stroke and mixed in a straight changeup. Curveball showed 2/8 shape with some slurvy action to the pitch. Hides the ball well and releases the ball easily. Good command to the glove side and mixed three pitches for strikes. Lefthanded hitter with a high hand set, high back elbow, and good path to contact. Consistent barrel with solid bat speed when on time. Bent knee stance with a consistent swing. Good student.
