Ethan Ketron is a 2021 LHP/OF with a 6-2 150 lb. frame from Abingdon, VA who attends Abingdon. Tall and lanky frame with lots of room to fill and time to do so. Ran a 7.16 second 60 yard dash. Primary lefthanded pitcher, pitches exclusively from the stretch starting his delivery with a leg lift to his belt line, full arm action up to a high ¾ slot, stays online with hips and upper half down the mound landing closed, throws with intent, developing arm strength at this time that should improve with time. Fastball peaked at 73 mph with heavy sinking action, filled up the strike zone with the heater and a mid-60s curveball. Secondary outfielder, sits back on the baseball, footwork plays through the ball, long arm action up to an over the top arm slot, average arm strength at this time with some carry, topped out at 75 mph from the outfield. Lefthanded hitter, even base, shifts well into contact with a downward path to the ball, compact swing with some quickness. Great student.
