Yomil Maysonet is a 2018 RHP with a 6-2 187 lb. frame from Carolina, PR who attends PJ Educational HS. Nice athletic body, long and loose and projectable. Deep hooked arm action in back, spine tilt to get to a high 3/4's arm slot, gets plane to the plate and get reach the bottom of the zone. Heavy fastball up to 91 mph gets good sink at times. Sows feel for his slider up to 81 mph. Tries to work the ball in and out effectively. Flashed a developing change up. Good student.
