Mason White is a 2022 SS/MIF with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Tucson, AZ who attends Salpointe Catholic. Medium athletic build with some present strength and room for more. 6.92 runner in the sixty. Light on his feet on defense in the middle infield, shows very good side to side range and works through the ball well, smooth transfers on his throws, has some carry across the diamond, nice overall defensive actions. Left handed hitter, has a hanging leg lift load that is well timed, good direction into contact, quick hands with a fluid line drive swing, low tension swing, bat speed will continue to improve with additional strength and physical maturity. Good student, verbal commitment to Arizona.
