2023 Florida Workout Showcase (Friday)
Tristan Silver is a 2027 MIF/RHP/C with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Jacksonville, FL. A taller frame with a higher set waist and slender build. Room to keep filling out moving forward. Ran a 7.71 60-yard dash. A primary middle infielder who worked out at the position, moving well with clean footwork and firm throws. Had a quick and clean arm stroke with the throws coming out at 84 mph. Fluid actions top to bottom during his round of throws across the diamond. Also worked out as an outfielder, fielding with one hand off the front foot to start and also showing a two-hand gather. Quick feet with choppy steps working into it with a whippy arm as he gets into release. Throws were on a line with one-hop accuracy to the bag. Also worked out as a catcher with an open setup. Had a quick jumping step into his throws that came with a short and quick arm action. Throws were up to 72 mph down to second with a quick arm stroke. Produced a 2.18 pop time. A right-handed hitter with the weight back, high-set hands, and a high-back elbow. Rotates hard through the zone with a direct path with some line drives to the middle of the field. Worked pull-side during his round and was able to work uphill to the baseball and drive it pull-side. Named to 2023 Florida Workout Showcase TP List.
