Casey Lockwood is a 2022 C/1B with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Clearwater, FL who attends Calvary Christian. Taller height with long limbs and a high waist. Ran a 7.91 in the sixty yard dash. A primary catcher, starts with a balanced base and higher set. Gains ground and has good timing with a smooth exchange and popped a 2.09 during drills. Also worked out at first base showing a good arm for the position and confident hands that should work the dirt well. A right-handed hitter, starts with an even and in line base. Works his hands on top and through the ball with a higher finish. Worked gap to gap with some strength at contact. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
