Luke Davis is a 2019 RHP/OF with a 6-4 200 lb. frame from Seale, AL who attends Glenwood School. Long and strong athletic build, very projectable physically. Slow paced delivery, smooth and repeatable mechanics, hides the ball well and has some deception, short stride out front with a tall release, tight 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 85, mostly straight. Sweeping curveball with good depth and some power. Keeps hitters off balance well and mixes his pitches. Did not observe a change up. Right handed hitter, hits from an open stance with a long and strong swing, good path to the ball, has the strength to run into his pitch and drive the ball. Shows his arm strength from the infield and outfield well. Interesting young pitcher who should continue to improve. Good student.
