Isaiah Mamea is a 2023 RHP/OF with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from Jacksonville, FL who attends St. John's Country Day School. Recorded a 7.01 second 60-yard dash time. Extra large frame with long limbs and lots of room to fill out. Primary right-handed pitcher with a big rocker step and high leg lift. Long arm action with a soft stab in the back of the arm circle. Loads on the back leg hard and hides the ball through release. Challenges up in the zone with the fastball that topped out at 89 mph. Comfortably in the upper-80s and uses the fastball well to set up his secondary pitches. Showed a 12/6 curveball flashing some depth along with a shorter slider that falls off the plate to right-handed hitters. Good upside given arm speed, projection, and ease of velocity. Arm strength also plays from secondary position of the outfield. Right-handed hitter with a high hand set, high back elbow, and an even stance. Inside path to contact and the swing path is uphill at times. Can work to both sides of the field and projects with strength. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
