Ethan Moody is a 2023 RHP/3B with a 6-0 200 lb. frame from Starke, FL who attends Union County. Medium, compact frame with some weight to the build. Ran a 7.89 second 60-yard dash. Primary righthanded pitcher, shows fluidity to the operation, works solely from the stretch with a controlled leg lift to the belt, rides the back side with balance at the gather, long arm circle in the back up to a high three-quarters slot, stays on line down the mound with an easy and lower effort release, fastball shows occasional sink to the arm side while also mixing in a breaking ball with downer action and depth through the zone. Right-handed hitter, starts with a wide base, high hands and high back below, deep load with some length to the swing path, stays mostly inside the ball and generates line drives to the back side.
