Anthony Grasso is a 2022 SS/RHP with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Tampa, FL who attends Strawberry Crest. Medium slender build with plenty of room to fill out as he develops, posted a 6.95 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary infielder, shows solid quickness in his actions. Fields out in front and funnels quickly and cleanly. Transitions quickly and throws across the diamond with good strength. On the mound, has a short arm action from a three-quarters slot. Compact motion with some violence to his drop and drive actions down the hill. Falls off the mound towards the first base side into his finish. Fastball up to 78 mph and he mixes in a 64 mph 11-to-5 shaped curveball. At the plate, uses an upright and even stance with a small stride trigger. Hands work direct to the baseball, barrel works hard down to the hitting zone and he gets out onto his front side early. Excellent student in the classroom as well.
