Jake D'Altrui is a 2022 SS with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Fort Myers, FL who attends Fort Myers. Medium athletic build with good strength for his age. Simple and repeatable swing mechanics, stays short to the ball and was consistently on time, middle of the field line drive contact, has the bat speed to get the ball to jump at times. Has sound fundamentals defensively in the middle infield, plays low and behind the ball, gets rid of the ball quickly with some carry on his throws, will need to continue to work on his foot quickness but has the actions to continue to develop defensively. Very good student.
