Gavin Howe is a 2023 3B/2B, SS with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Fort Myers, FL who attends Bishop Verot. Recorded a 7.23 second sixty yard dash time. Large frame and athletic build with room to fill. Primary third baseman with a controlled and balanced approach, moves well laterally and shows smooth footwork. Fields it away from his body at times, has present feel for the glove. At his best when moving up the middle and making plays on the move, showed the ability to drop slots. Right-handed hitter with a spread and bent knee stance, moves in well and shows a short and direct bat path. Gets early on his front side at times, hits through the ball and gets extended well when on time. Simple stroke, flashed some pop to the pull side gap, solid all around player that will continue to improve moving forward. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
