Mason Janz is a 2021 OF/RHP/MIF with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Palmetto, FL who attends Palmetto. Medium frame with athletic, slender build; ran 60 yard dash in 6.72 seconds. Hits from wide-spread stance, toe tap trigger with high hands, limited load into back hip, gets onto front side, liner swing plane with middle field approach. Primary outfielder, moving well, shows off athleticism in movements, fields clean and lets it rip, clocked up to 92 mph on throws. Also took infield reps and threw 88 mph across. Pitched as well, deliberate pace, longer arm stroke to high 3/4 slot, fastball worked 81-85 mph with good arm side life, showed curveball with 11/5 shape and solid depth. Very good student, named to 2020 National Uncommitted Showcase Top Prospect List.
