Cristian Chamorro is a 2023 C/UT with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Gurabo, PR who attends Puerto Rico Baseball Academy. Medium build with good height and a strong upper half. Ran a 7.53 in the 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, two knee and relaxed crouch. Showed fluid hips and a solid release point. Produced consistent throws that made it to the bag with solid accuracy and improved as round progressed. Right-handed hitter, wider and open base with leg lift that loads to the back side. Rotates hard through contact with loud strength to the pull side. Looks to lift and elevate with authority. Fires his hands and hips with good torque to the path. Solid strength in the path that stood out. Very good student. Named to Top Prospect list.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
