Rylan Baker is a 2026 OF/LHP with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Fernandina, FL who attends The Bolles. Slender young build with lots of growing ahead of him. Left handed hitter, hits from a wide base, has a quick and tight hip turn, accurate barrel, lacks present strength but handles the barrel very well, high level contact tool with more strength to come. 6.73 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, works through the ball well with good athleticism, long and loose arm action, projectable arm strength. Also pitched, multi-part delivery with a long and loose arm action, repeats his delivery well, has an element of deception in his mechanics. Fastball topped out at 78 mph, lived at the bottom of the strike zone and threw strikes. Curveball was a good pitch for him with good power and shape, change up mimicked his fastball well with good arm speed and late sink. Has the makings of a two-way prospect with more strength. Excellent student.
