Preston Matricardi is a 2027 OF/LHP with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from Fernandina Beach, FL who attends Yulee. Lean athletic build with square shoulder. Plenty of room to add strength as he matures. Ran a 7.29 sixty yard dash. Primary outfielder, quick and clean arm stroke with a fast release, long and loose arm action, throws were accurate and on line with carry, threw 84 mph in outfield drills. Also pitched, pitches tall with a drift down the mound and short stride, developing release consistency, fastball sat in the low 80's with life and arm side run, curveball had power and back foot angle, has bat missing stuff and will continue to improve with mechanical adjustments. Left handed hitter, spread open stance with a late hand load, loose path with impact off the barrel, best contact came to the pull side. Good student.
