Ford Thompson is a 2024 LHP/OF with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Snellville, GA who attends Parkview. Tall with a high waist and proportioned frame that will fill out nicely. A left-handed pitcher, has a deceptive delivery and quickness to the shoulder that allows for a clean release. Lots of horizontal action to the fastball and he works the bottom of the zone well. The changeup mimics the fastball well as he kills spin while keeping the hand speed up. His bullet slider should be a weapon against both righties and lefties at the next level. The low slot should make all the offerings play up. Excellent student. Committed to Georgia.
