2022 National Underclass Showcase-Main Event
(Robert) Vance Bock is a 2026 C/RHP, 3B, OF with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Sugar Hill, GA who attends North Gwinnett. Strong, physical frame. Ran a 7.50 60-yard dash. A catcher that starts from a side set up, quick feet on the pop up with a clean exchange gaining ground, transfer is quick and shows average arm strength with one hop/no hop throws around the bag. Threw out a runner at second base from his knees with a solid one hop throw in game. A right handed hitter with a physical, strength based swing. Showed sound fundamentals in batting practice; keeping the hands inside the baseball rotating the lower half and getting the barrel out front where he can use his strength to drive the baseball gap to gap. Got to the barrel for a sharp line drive double to his pull side gap in game with an in game swing. Showed consistent timing and the ability to get the barrel on plane consistently in his in game at-bats. Named to event Top Prospect List. Excellent student.
