Brayden Mentzer is a 2027 2B/RHP, 1B, 3B, SS, OF with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from Sugar Hill, GA who attends North Gwinnett. Recorded a 8.04 60-yard dash. Primary infielder with a lean and athletic frame. Showed good intent to actions in the dirt and utilized a methodical gather before throwing across the diamond. Also worked out in the outfield and got through the ball well, using a shorter arm action with solid arm strength. Right-handed hitter and starts from a medium base with even feet and a low hand set. Stays short to the ball and on a level bat path through the zone. Worked the pull side and showed the makings of some whip while staying inside the ball. Also pitched and threw from a low effort delivery whle mixing his pitches well and generating weak contact.
