Jacob Miller is a 2022 RHP/OF with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Baltimore, OH who attends Liberty Union. Well proportioned athletic build. High 3/4's arm slot creates good angle to plate, top down delivery with a short pause in his back swing, lands a bit closed out front, repeats his mechanics well. Curveball is his best pitch, throws it hard with outstanding arm speed, big depth to hit, consistently gets over the pitch and lands it in the zone, will overthrow it at times and have it flatten out, best in the 78-80 mph range, definite plus pitch. Threw about a 50/50 mix of curveballs and fastballs. Fastball was up to 92 mph, mostly straight and thrown for strikes, has been up to 95 mph this summer, will need to develop some fastball movement for the next level. Good student, verbal commitment to Louisville. Named to play in the Perfect Game All-American Classic.
