AJ Loomis is a 2021 1B/RHP with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who attends Serra HS. Long and rangy young athletic build, lots of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide base with a low hand start, rotational upper body swing, arm swing, will likely keep getting stronger but will need mechanical adjustments to take advantage of that strength. 7.39 runner. Also pitched, slow paced leg tuck delivery, high 3/4's arm slot. Threw strikes with a mid to upper 60's fastball. Good student.
